In The Salvation Army the "Songster Brigade" is the Senior Choir, usually made up of between 20-30 male and female singers. At Box Hill they participate in the 11:00am service and throughout the year are involved in concerts and festivals.

Choral Music has a strong spiritual dimension which allows us to participate more accurately or at a greater depth in our personal and shared act of worship. At the same time it assists us in finding the spiritual within ourselves and it allows us to communicate directly with God. It is the desire and responsibility of each member of the group to use the gift of music to communicate with God and to communicate the Word of God in a relative and meaningful way to all who will listen.
